I am not a a professional these are only things i do and see as beneficial for my skin and what i learned from doing research about it!
Want good skin? First you need to consider what you put in your body and supplements.Second we consider what i use on my skin.
1. Foods and supplements
OK, so if you drink soda and a lot of caffeine and sugar you need to stop. You need to drink 8 glasses of water each day to clear your skin toxins. Also junk food and bad fats will make your skin act out.Keep foods like fruits and vegetable at hand and use good fats to cook with like olive oil, almond oil, avocado oil. Also eat whole wheat, more organic and natural. More information on putting clean, healthy things in your body go to www.eatcleandiet.com.
Supplements you need:
Vitamin A — has a long history of use in treating acne, and as the ingredient in Retin-A, appears to smooth out wrinkles and improve skin texture by restoring the skin's ability to produce collagen.
Vitamin B-complex — helps the body in many ways and protects the skin.
Vitamin E — Vitamin A's efficiency is thought to improve when combined with E. which on its own is claimed to be effective in keeping skin tissues healthy.
Vitamin C — Believed to fight inflammation inside the body, and protect against free-radical damage, this antioxidant participates in the production of collagen.
Estrogen — Studies strongly suggest that post-menopausal women taking estrogen have less skin dryness and wrinkling than those who do not, but hormone replacement is a complex issue and should be addressed with your physician's assistance after considering all the benefits and risks.( I personally do not need that)
I take Cod liver oil is high in vitamin A and vitamin D. The vitamin A and D in cod liver oil is fat-soluble, this makes it easily absorbed and processed in the body. In 100 grams of cod liver oil there are 100,000 IU of vitamin A, higher than many other traditional food sources The amount of vitamin D in 100 grams of cod liver oil is 10,000 IU, also one of the highest natural sources of vitamin D.If you are vegetarian instead of Cod liver oil you can take flaxseed oil they almost have the same benefits.
Other supplements i love is Biotin and gelatin, google it and see the benefits.
